FAQ

What's in it for me?
The goals are simple: health and fitness. Weight / fat loss, muscle strength and tone, strong heart and lungs, increased endurance and stamina are but a few of the physical benefits you'll get from Fit Force. Add to that an increase in self confidence, well being, positive attitude, and increased energy.

What’s a daily workout session like?
No workout session is repeated during your four weeks of training. A typical day is 60 minutes of non-stop full body exercises and is designed to get you going both physically and mentally! We keep your interest and your curiosity levels high in anticipation of the workouts. Expect forms of dynamic movements and bodyweight exercises such as push-ups, squats, obstacle courses, athletic drills, and anything else we can think of to get you fit. The Workouts are run as a group activity and there is always someone there to motivate you!

Who can/should attend?
Fit Force is designed for all fitness levels. You don't have to be fit to start. Our assessments are based upon military physical fitness standards. This means you compete against set norms for your age/gender. We establish a baseline during week one, with the 2 minute push-ups, 2 minute sit ups, and 1.5 mile run.

Do I need to be in great physical condition before starting?
Fit Force is designed to push you to your limits whether you're a novice or advanced. We will challenge you to perform outside your comfort zone and help you achieve goals you may have never thought possible.

What if I can’t perform a certain exercise?
You will be given a modified, low-impact drill as an alternative to strengthen your body so that you will be able to condition weak areas.

Will I be sore?
The workouts are challenging and you'll be sore for a few days; most people feel some soreness for the first 2-3 days. This is good and normal. After that point, your body WILL adapt and overcome. Just stay at it and don't quit!!!

What do I need to do to get started?
Running shoes (NO CROSS TRAINING, AEROBIC, OR HIKING SHOES WILL BE ALLOWED) and appropriate workout clothing for whatever weather we encounter. You should ALWAYS bring a positive "CAN DO!" attitude!  Also, NO MATS.

What about the weather?
This is an all-weather class unless otherwise notified.

Is this a Boot Camp?
NO.

Why should I do this?
Why not?
